How to enable subtitles for a movie on the WD TV HD Media Player.
Question
How do I enable subtitles for my movie files on the WD TV HD Media Player?
Answer
You can enable subtitles for a video file by following the steps below:
* Press the OPTION button on the remote while you have the file playing
* Select the icon with the lines and press the ENTER button on the remote
* Highlight "Subtitles" and press enter to enable subtitles
Please note that you will need to have the subtitles as a separate .srt file in the same folder as the video file in order for the WD TV to play them. If you don't have a separate .srt subtitle file, but instead have the subtitles embedded into the video file, you will need to use a third-party program to extract them to a file with the .srt extension.
