Theo thông tin từ một member nhiệt tình test và đưa ra 1 danh sách dài, Xtreamer firmware Ver.2.0 như sau:
Bug List:
Video Issues:
- BD-ISO doesn't work with large files (one on one rips). (aprox 40 gig)
- 24p in mkv/ts files is in reality 24,000Hz, not 23,976Hz.
- Blank transparent bar appears at the top of the screen for 2 seconds from time to time while watching a movie.
Audio Issues:
- TrueHD in MKV (A_TRUEHD) is not working
- TrueHd pass through does not work. It gets transcoded to PCM 2.0 instead.
- Dolby TrueHd PCM 5.1 does not work. Transcoded to PCM 2.0
- DTS 5.1 does not work via HDMI
- When watching movies all spoken parts are louder in the left channel on my stereo (no 5.1 speakers).
Network Issues:
- Wifi Streaming: Often lags/hangs
- Wifi Streaming: no 1080p streaming possible
- Wifi Streaming: DHCP is not ready Bug
- Wifi Streaming: no WEP 128bit Hex encryption
- LAN: very slow speed
- Samba shares not accessable/seen
Internet Radio Issues:
- Another bug: If user-created .PLSX radio station streams (or any streams in the Radio Stations list) run into problems such as being unable to connect to the server, or if there is an error in the .PLSX file, the Xt will no longer play any other .PLSX streams even if they worked previously. On occasion this will even cause the Xt to completely lose WiFi connectivity, requiring a reboot or unplugging and reinserting the USB WiFi adapter.
Subtitle Issues:
- Hebrew Subitles: punctuation symbols like "!" or "?" are in front of the sentence and not at the end
- Arabic subtitles are not working
GUI Issues:
- Text/Fonts way to small on CRT/Pal, no change switching from 16/9 to 4/3
- The letter 'e' in some of the sub menu text is hanging slightly lower than the other characters
- TrueHD in the HDMI audio setting needs to be spelled correctly. It is "TureHD" right now.
- Instead of saying "Connecting Server" when playing a radio stream, it should say "Connecting To Server".
Major Bugs
- Uploading files to SDA1 (External 750GB HD) and trying to play a movie from network freezes the device.
- Sony TVs, purple screen (handshaking problem?)
- unnecessarily 90% of PAL material will be deinterlaced because of European progressive standard: bad flickering around sharp edges
- poor upscaling: vertical "shadows" around every high contrast objects like fonts, persons etc
- When playing mkv with embedded vobsub tv screen turns black and xt doesn't respond anymore. Screen turns black as soon as the first subs appear
Desired Features:
- more attractive initial start screen logo
- GUI Themes Support
- subtitles by default off
- progresive jpg support
- optional settings section for font and icons sizes
- basic calibration section to adjust brightness/contrast/color/sharpness
- make use of additional movie information (.xml metadata, backdrop.jpg) contained in the title's folder.
