In order to satisfy the demands of quality media player fans, HDI Dune is proud to present the new budget series of devices called the Dune HD Lite. The first model introducing this range is the Dune HD Lite 53D. Dune HD Lite 53D is the most affordable universal media player, which allows to play back video of standard and high definition up to Full HD (1080p), and also may be used as a specialized set top box for playback of digital TV programs. This player is equipped with two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, an SD memory card slot and eSATA port for external drives (In case an internal HDD is installed, the external eSATA port is turned off). Video outputs of the model are represented by HDMI v1.3, composite and component analog outputs. Sound can be output via HDMI, Toslink optical interface, and RCA stereo. The most notable feature is the capability of playing audio and video files from the local network. For this purpose an Ethernet port is offered which allows data transfer at the speed of up to 100 Mbit/s. In terms of functionality, the Dune HD Lite 53D meets all requirements addressed to modern multimedia players of low-price segment, and in many points exceeds them. For example, it can be shipped with the 2.5’’ SATA HDD installed inside the case for recording and playback of different audio and video contents.
