Hello Playon!HD owners!

We are happy to announce our new beta firmware.
Below you will find links to download this new firmware together with the change log and instructions on how to install this firmware. Please make sure you get the right firmware version for your product.

Theo thông tin chính thức thì Frimware này có 1 loạt những thay đổi gồm :

1. Improved areas where requiring a password input, the entry does not show up under the virtual keyboard input field and not saved under Input History
2. Improved correct sorting of titles alphabetically when locating Jukebox index.htm over network
3. Improved various menu language translations and OSD errors
4. Improved displaying of music title in ID3 tag during playback instead of the file name
5. Improved USB keyboard workability in various environment
6. Improved Shortcast now shows the progress and total amount of items loading
7. Add Subtitle On/Off option under SETUP - MISC to set default action of displaying subtitles on playback
8. Add more zoom options, 0.9x > 0.7x > 0.5x after the last X:100% Y:100% selection
9. Fix Folder Protection bug of not unlocking when the default password '0000' is changed
10. Fix Clear History to remove records under Recently Added Music and Recently Added Movies instead of hiding them
11. Fix screensaver of not starting when a video playback is paused
12. Fix reboot when pressing enter key on an empty Mediafly search entry
13. Fix pressing Home button when playing any music will randomly stop playback
14. Fix Photo Slideshow not being able to pause when the Pause button is pressed. Works on with both Play and Pause button.
15. Fix Shoutcast when fetching large results will randomly freeze the unit
16. Fix time indicator mis-matched when doing a time skipping (pressing left/right button) after a GOTO operation
17. Fix incorrect YouTube view count
18. Fix during video zoomed condition, pressing 'audio', 'subtitles' or 'info' will reset zoom mode
19. Supports Underline and Italic parameters in SRT subtitles
20. Supports both ID3v2.4 UTF-8 and ID3v2.3 UTF-16 tags

Do là bản Beta nên frimware vẫn còn một số vấn đề cần lưu ý

1. *Please use Setup>System>Screensaver>Options>Default (don’t use ‘Photo Album or ‘Flickr’ or system might crash!) [ Vui lòng sử dụng Screensaver ở chế độ mặc định trong Mục Setup>System>Screensaver>Options>Default ( không chọn chế độ sử dụng album ảnh hoặc chế độ ảnh trên Flickr sẽ gây xung đột hệ thống)
2. *Playback of .avi files with NFS protocol will not work. Chế độ xem tiếp với file.avi sẽ không hoạt động với tùy chọn NFS protocol

Và phần không thể thiếu là hướng dẫn up frimware

• Có 2 cách up frimware. Nhưng chúng tôi khuyến cáo bạn nên dùng phuơng pháp safe mode nếu đây là lần đầu tiên bạn nâng cấp lên phiên bản frimware mới

Các Bước up Frimware bằng phương pháp safe mode (khuyên dùng)

• Safe-Mode method (*recommended!):

1. Download and extract the .zip file into the root folder of a USB-stick. Make sure the USB-stick is formatted to FAT32.
2. Insert the USB-stick to your player.
3. Shutdown the player.
4. Press and hold down the power button in front of the player for 15 seconds.
5. Your player will restart and install the new firmware.

Các bước up frimware bằng cách chọn System update trong Menu Setup

• System update method:

1. Download and extract the .zip file into the root folder of a USB-stick. Make sure the USB-stick is formatted to FAT32.
2. Insert the USB-stick to your player.
3. Go to Setup>Misc>USB Upgrade and press 'Enter' on your remote control to confirm.
4. Your player will restart and install the new firmware.​
